Job Description:

Imperial Sprinkler Supply, a partner of Heritage Landscaping Supply Group, is seeking a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual to join its team. We are seeking a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual for a Yard Associate.

This full-time position will focus on duties such as stocking the yard area, warehouse areas, shipping and receiving of products, loading/unloading trucks, and some driving. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season. Pay Rate: $17.00-$19.00

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Stocking, receiving, pulling, and staging all yard/warehouse products.
• Loading, unloading, and securing product for customers, delivery vehicles, and inbound trucks.
• Keeping yard area neat and organized.
• Operating Forklifts in outdoor environments.
• Focusing on safe work practices, such as wearing PPE, proper lifting techniques, etc., while performing daily duties and using company equipment.
• Maintaining daily delivery logs and customer paperwork.
• Delivering product to customers and branch locations
• An eye for safety including pre-trip inspections, securing loads, and strict adherence to DOT/CDL regulations.
• Understanding and adherence to the regulations detailed in the FMCSA.
• Other related duties as assigned (some driving duties)
  
  REQUIREMENTS
  
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer knowledge and Internet use
  • Forklift experience helpful, not required.
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred, but not required.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical.
