Strong knowledge of workplace safety procedures. Aware of inventory controls on a daily basis and able to conduct monthly inventory for department as required. Capable of developing flexible schedules and controlling labor costs. Prior experience in a high volume kitchen in a supervisory role preferred. This position is not limited to those duties listed in the job description. Duties and responsibilities can be changed, expanded, reduced or deleted to meet business needs of the company. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has supervisory responsibilities. Job Requirements: 5-7 years experience as a Sushi Sous Chef in a fast paced, high volume, fine dining restaurant. Strong work ethic, motivated, self-sufficient, able to work under pressure, and have a willingness to learn Create an entertaining and special experience for customers Two years culinary education certification preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age or older. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
