Job Description Job Description Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This role focuses on delivering specialized patient care within an operating room environment. It requires competence in perioperative nursing procedures and the ability to support the surgical team effectively. Key Responsibilities: Adhere strictly to organizational policies and ethical standards to ensure patient safety and quality care. Maintain all required certifications, licensing, and mandatory trainings in a timely manner. Anticipate and meet the needs of surgical procedures by preparing and managing equipment, including dressings and casts, aligned with physician preference cards. Accurately document procedural data, including surgical counts and updates to preference cards, while complying with safety protocols. Proactively identify issues and implement solutions to enhance department operations and patient outcomes. Participate in departmental tasks beyond routine duties and contribute to educational activities. Work flexible shifts as needed to support the surgical team and departmental workload. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Valid nursing credentials with specific experience in operating room technical support. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Commitment to regulatory compliance and continuous quality improvement.
