An opening role is available for an experienced operating room technician dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care within a surgical environment. This position provides critical support in the operating room suite, ensuring smooth procedure flow by anticipating clinical needs and maintaining stringent safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Adhere strictly to all healthcare policies, ethical standards, and patient safety protocols. Maintain compliance with licensing, certification, and mandatory trainings, submitting required documentation promptly. Support surgical teams by preparing for cases in accordance with physician preference cards, assisting with dressings and other post-procedure needs. Accurately document and verify surgical counts, including instruments and sponges, and report any discrepancies. Engage proactively in problem-solving and quality improvement initiatives within the department. Participate in educational activities and contribute suggestions to enhance operational efficiency. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience with operating room procedures and patient care specific to surgical settings. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and healthcare compliance standards. Ability to work independently, demonstrate reliability, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Excellent communication skills for coordinating within surgical teams. Flexibility to work additional or varied shifts as needed.
