Job Description Nephrologist - Indio, California (Coachella Valley) THE OPPORTUNITY A thriving private nephrology practice affiliated with a regional medical center seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Nephrologist to join two established physicians serving the Coachella Valley community. This is a rare opportunity to practice in one of California's most desirable desert resort communities with a clear partnership track. The practice has been serving the region for years with an excellent reputation and strong referral base. Four dialysis centers across the valley (Indio, La Quinta, Coachella, and Rancho Mirage) provide comprehensive care to the community. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS - Salary Range: $350,000 - $420,000 annually - Partnership track available - Sign-on bonus negotiable - Loan repayment negotiable - Managed care agreements with IPAs, PPO, private plans, and Medi-Cal - Bilingual clinical and administrative staff support THE ROLE - Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Four clinic days per week - Approximately 10 patients per half-day clinic session - Approximately 10 inpatients during hospital rounds - 1:3 weekend call rotation (hospital rounds at two facilities) - Four affiliated dialysis centers across the Coachella Valley REQUIREMENTS - MD/DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology - ACGME-accredited nephrology fellowship - California license or ability to obtain THE LOCATION Indio sits in the heart of the Coachella Valley - home to the famous Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals. Year-round sunshine with over 300 sunny days annually. Palm Springs is 20 minutes west. Los Angeles and San Diego are within a 2-hour drive. The Coachella Valley offers a lower cost of living relative to coastal Southern California while maintaining access to world-class dining, golf, and outdoor recreation.
