Medical Laboratory Scientist - Clinical Laboratory at Providence Health and Services summary: The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs clinical laboratory testing and analysis to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases in patients of all ages. Description Medical Laboratory Scientist - Clinical Laboratory at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is Part-time and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts. Under the general supervision of the Chief Clinical Laboratory Scientist, obtains and processes patient specimens and performs various clinical laboratory test for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Analyzes, interprets, and reports test results and ensures accuracy of same. Verifies tests as necessary; directly notifies appropriate personnel of critical results and provides proper documentation. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
