Lead Health Unit Coordinator Full-time Day at Providence Health
and Services summary: The Lead Health Unit Coordinator manages
patient, visitor, and staff communications to ensure a positive
experience within the hospital setting. This role requires
independent decision-making to resolve complex situations and
support patient care delivery. The position involves coordination
of clinical support activities, emphasizing customer service and
healthcare knowledge. Description Under the general supervision and
according to established policies and procedures, the Unit
Coordinator (UC) ensures that patients, their families and guests
have an unparalleled experience at Mission Hospital while serving
as the face of our Ministry and proactively setting the stage for
the patient experience, by professionally and efficiently providing
and/or coordinating patient/visitor/guest experience. The UC
effectively communicates via a variety of modalities with patients,
visitors, and facility staff and plays an integral role in
communication across the continuum of care. The UC is responsible
for serving as the primary resource person in identifying and
facilitating problem resolution for our patients and guests while
utilizing independent decision making to manage complex situations
while ensuring positive outcomes. Providence caregivers are not

them. Required Qualifications: 3 years of eperience in delivering
high level of service in guest relations. Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's Degree Coursework/Training: Training in customer
service, service recovery, conflict resolution.
Coursework/Training: Medical terminology course. Experience working

position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range
for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base
pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums,
