Summary and Scope of Position :

The District Manager is responsible for maximizing company profits and associate achievements through inspirational leadership, guidance, and strategic planning. This position is accountable for Assisting in managing staff, marketing, company operations, hiring and training, business development, and report analysis. This position engages in service selling and product knowledge to provide a world class customer experience to their team and the wireless community.

District Managers are to ensure subordinates are compliant with the expectations of Spacetel, which includes, but not limited to; financial management (including safekeeping of monies and devices by assuring company assets are locked in a safe at all times, unless being actively used), business operations (ensuring deposits according to schedules and performing duties as directed), day to day store location operations (must follow all SOPs, training guides and one on one training from Corporate Office), customer service (always remember what Cricket stands for /Something to Smile About. You are expected to always provide a customer experience that gives every customer ), retention (ensuring a positive comfortable work environment for employees to grow and learn), promotions (setting new trends to drive customers in), inventory (ensuring all inventory is secured and accounted for), and employee training/development (for both new and vetted employees).

Spacetel Seeks District Managers that are highly self motivated and self disciplined to perform all aspects of the role. Expectations one must possess include being able to submit to extensive travel (80% of schedule will be traveling to different locations and performing job duties at each location in the assigned district), being able to take direction, be a self starter, and hold a strong customer service attitude. Spacetel customers are our number one priority and the District Manager must adhere to training subordinates in all aspects of the company while creating a positive learning environment, while simultaneously taking on their new role when called upon and being accustomed to become a positive knowledgeable leader in the wireless industry.

General Duties include, but not limited to, the following :
Advance the company's retail position in the designated district

Set and achieve sales goals and service performance requirements through new customer sales, sales of accessories and features, and by providing excellent customer satisfaction

Oversee operations of multiple storefronts in assigned districts

Staff store positions and train subordinates to operate stores according to corporate policies

Monitor cash flow, inventory flow, and pricing

Assure the Cash Safe and Phone/Device Safe is locked at all times when not in use while working in store

Perform closing duties as part of the store daily checklist while working in stores (including but not limited to locking all safes, doors, windows and ensuring the alarm system is activated)

Set the tone for store culture and environment to ensure success in all aspects of sales and customer service

Thoroughly understands the "Customer Service Guide" and capable of coaching subordinates in any situation they may encounter

Capable of teaching and training struggling employees to become successful in their role

Solicit, coordinate and participate in community events

Articulate visions to Spacetel stores while building and motivating store teams to maximize sales and profitability

Provide positive reinforcement and training to promote learning and growth of the subordinates as needed

Participate in corrective action for subordinates per Spacetel Policy and Procedures

Manage the activities of individual subordinates with accountability for goals, objectives, and operational policies

Participate in the development of functional operational strategies

Oversee hiring, terminations, performance, and salary decisions of the district assigned

Meet deadlines, be cooperative, and have a flexible schedule

Ensure deposits are made and staffing is adequate when working without a store manager

Submit daily achievement report on every working day when performing this role

Other duties as requested by the Corporate Office team

Must be willing and able to work multiple locations within the assigned district

Consistently demonstrate a commitment to SPACETEL policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities

Provide continuous coaching to subordinates

Hold subordinates accountable by implementing coaching

Provide resolutions to customer complaints regarding sales and service while coaching/training store teams

Oversee store managers ordering, receiving, discrepancies and assure proper training of all operations for the stores

Assume direct responsibility for all day-to-day store operations, by creating a solid well trained team in the store

Ensure 100% completion of all required training upon hire, monthly and annually per cricket wireless standards, for self and all staff

Master Velocity training for personal growth for self and staff

Engage in community activities and business development that support business goals

Establish and maintain adherence to budgets

Participate in the new hire process-review resumes on company provided Indeed profiles, may perform phone screenings, in person interviews, and complete onboarding paperwork and training, hold open interviews when working in store locations

Ensure the district is staffed to perform the duties and responsibilities of each position

Ensure store locations are open timely and adequately staffed

Proactively identify concerns and challenges while executing improvement plans

Conduct employee meetings and operations reviews

Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvements

Work closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement

Ensure proper merchandising within store, including product placement, display and brand compliance per Cricket wireless standards

Coordinates training and development to all sales associates and supports personnel in the sales organization

Responsible for the allocation of technology, support, and sales training resources impacting the sales organization

Acts as the face of the organization to internal and external partners within the assigned district or as assigned

Attend all required trainings as assigned by Corporate Office

Request training as needed for self and subordinates

Review all store schedules and make necessary adjustments according to policy

Assist subordinates in resolving escalated customer concerns

Design sales contests to meet sales goals

Complete audits while visiting store

Complete and submit audits/inventory/Phone orders in every location on due dates, including full inventory count every other audit

Plan visits to stores while focusing on training, coaching, goal setting and follow-up items, as well as side by side selling and role playing

Conduct annual reviews with the store manager on store and personal performance

Exhibit Product Expertise by maintaining thorough knowledge of current competitive district trends

Act as the Merchandising expert by ensuring in-store presentation standards are maintained to Cricket Wireless audit standards, including but not limited to housekeeping, merchandising, signage, and maintenance of store

Build strong partner relationships and lines of communication with carrier personnel

Must be able to plan and create informative meetings with staff

Must be able to communicate daily achievements with store employees

Must highlight accomplishments of the day with store employees

Be accountable for team communications by ensuring communications from upper management of the Corporate Office are delivered to all staff in the assigned district and that they fully understand said communications and are immediately implemented in the stores

District Managers are accountable for the protection of company assets by following established policies, processes and procedures
