Requirements: · Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a
related field. · CPA or CMA certification is preferred. · Minimum 5
years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis. ·
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and
Microsoft Excel. · Strong analytical skills and attention to
detail. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ·
Knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting standards. Day to Day
Responsibilities: The Senior Cost Accountant will play a pivotal
role in analyzing and managing costs across various departments.
This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to
optimize budgeting processes and financial reporting. Key
responsibilities include: · Preparing and analyzing cost reports to
identify trends and variances. · Developing and maintaining cost
allocation methodologies. · Assisting in the preparation of annual
budgets and forecasts. · Conducting audits of cost data and
identifying areas for improvement. · Collaborating with operations
to enhance cost efficiency and productivity.
