Job Description:
A company is looking for a Financial Clearance Representative
Associate, responsible for completing the financial clearance
process and assisting families in obtaining healthcare and
financial services.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze patient visit information to determine
authorization needs and secure them appropriately
Ensure timely acquisition of initial and subsequent
authorizations
Provide mentoring to less experienced team members regarding
revenue cycle and payer issues
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
1+ years of experience with hospital-based denials
6+ months of experience in prior authorization or insurance
verification in a healthcare setting
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Must be 18 years of age or older
